Overview
The boat leaves Playa Potrero and reaches the rocky Islas Catalinas offshore in about half an hour. Two different spots around the islets are snorkelled, and the same sites are used by divers. Turtles, white-tip reef sharks and rays can be seen year-round, and giant mantas come mostly in the dry season. Visibility is usually best from December to April.
