Overview
The boat leaves Coal Harbour, crosses Burrard Inlet eastward and enters the Indian Arm fjord past Deep Cove and Belcarra. The fjord narrows to the north between forested slopes, with cabins on the shore reachable only by boat. The turning point is Granite Falls, which drops into the sea beside an old granite quarry; the historic Wigwam Inn, opened in 1910, is seen at the head of the arm (there is no public moorage there). Harbour seals and bald eagles are often seen on the way. The trip takes about 3 hours.
