Overview
Vava'u's sheltered channels by private boat: out of Port of Refuge to Swallows Cave on Kapa, a beach stop on Nuku islet and, on request, Mariner's Cave or the Hunga lagoon. Route, length and lunch are set with the group. In whale season, swimming with whales is only allowed from a licensed whale boat; if the private boat holds no such licence, whales are watched from a distance only.
