Overview
Small boats from Agios Nikolaos at the island's northern tip first enter the Blue Caves beneath Cape Skinari, where around midday the blue of the water reflects onto the rock arches. The route then runs down the west coast to Navagio bay. Because landing has at times been banned for cliff safety, the bay and the 1980 wreck are usually seen from the water; when landing is allowed a short beach stop is added.
