Overview
Laganas bay is a national marine park and a nesting area for loggerhead turtles. Following park rules, the boat cruises the bay slowly to watch turtles surfacing, then stops to swim off Marathonisi, known as Turtle Island, and in the sea caves at Keri. Nesting beaches are not landed on, and the viewing distance is set by the park authority.
