About this tour
A river cruise on the Bartın River, often described as the only river in Türkiye navigable for commercial transport, run by the cooperative boats that leave from the Yalı waterfront in the city centre. Formed where the Kocaçay and Kocanaz streams meet at Gazhane Burnu, the river flows about 14 km before reaching the Black Sea at Boğaz. Its slow current makes it well suited to boat trips. Along the way guests see the old harbour area and the parks, gardens and green banks lining the river. Because it is sheltered from sea swell, it is a calm option on days when the Black Sea is rough.
